GP Telephone Consultations
Demand for appointments commonly outstrips supply in General Practice; if you would like to speak to a Doctor without attending the surgery, certain medical advice can be given over the telephone.
A number of telephone consultation slots are available each day for patients to speak with Doctors if they do not need face-to-face consultations (e.g. to discuss results, medications, problems or advice). Please understand that our Patient Services Team will ask you what your call is about so they can let the Doctor know in advance. Some conditions (e.g. rash) may not be suitable for a telephone consultation and you may be advised that you need to make an appointment to come in and see a Doctor.
Please see the Telephone Consultations tab under further information section for more information regarding telephone consultations.
Patients under 5 years old
All children under 5 years old will be able to access a doctor the same day, this will either be via telephone or with a face to face appointment.
The Practice offers a range of online services, such as ordering prescriptions, booking appointments, view allergies and immunisation status. Ask at reception how to obtain a login to access these services.

Detail Coded Record Access
From April 2016 practices will be required to also offer online access to all detailed information, i.e. information that is held in a coded form within the patient’s medical record. The appropriate application form must be completed prior to any online access being enabled.
The practice reserves the right to review and remove access at any point in the future if it is thought that it is in the best interests of the patient or if the services are being misused.
For further information on how to enable Detail Coded Record Access please speak to reception.
