NOTICE TO ALL PATIENTS

I am delighted to advise you that with effect from 1st July 2020 I have been joined by two further doctors to provide medical services to you. These two doctors will become Partners of the Practice with me. The new doctors are Dr Wasim who was until recently a salaried GP working at the Practice and Dr Nazir, who has previously been at the Practice as a GP Registrar and Locum GP.

APPOINTMENT SUSPENSION

Due to risk of Coronavirus infection. Following local and national guidance we are no longer able to book routine appointments. If you have a routine appointment booked with a GP, this will now be a TELEPHONE CONSULTATION. Please DO NOT come to the Practice unless you are asked to do so by a Doctor. Routine and emergency telephone appointments are available everyday but not pre bookable


Our doors are closed for the foreseeable future. Please only attend the surgery if asked by a GP/Nurse. Samples & correspondence can be posted through the letter box. Our phone lines are still open

We are always looking for ways to improve your experience and continue to offer a quality service.

Please Note: This is not a link to the practice complaints procedure, if you would like to discuss anything about the practice please contact the Practice Manager on the surgery number.

In February 2020 we received 164 responses from our patients. Out of these responses 97% of our patients said that the would recommend Block Lane Surgery to their Friends and Family.

 

NAMED ACCOUNTABLE GP

All patients, including children registered at the practice have been allocated a named accountable GP, this will be Dr M Asrani.

Access

The surgery is situated on Block Lane, Chadderton opposite Cornwall Street.

There is a car park for patients, a designated parking space for disabled patients and a ramp access to the surgery.

There is a pharmacy opposite the surgery which provides a delivery service.

Local bus stops include one directly outside the surgery, another at the top of Cornwall Street, and a further one approximately 7 minutes away. All buses go to Oldham Town Centre and other parts of Chadderton.
